Tonight 92-year-old Andy Rooney made his 1,097th and final regular appearance on 60 Minutes. I wish I could do this forever, he said in his final essay titled My Lucky Life, in which he thanked his viewers and, in his trademark curmudgeonly style also appealed to them, “If you do see me in a restaurant, please, just let me eat my dinner.” Here is the video:
